Booking and Cancellation Policy
Counselling Sessions
Video or Phone Sessions - Counselling can take place through secure video chat or by phone—whichever feels most comfortable for you. For video sessions, you’ll need a stable internet connection and a device with a working camera and microphone. Sessions take place through the Jane App platform. I encourage you to read their privacy policies so you feel informed about how your information is safely protected and encrypted.
Please be ready to connect at our scheduled time. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, unless we’ve arranged for a 45-minute or 90-minute session. If we will be meeting again, we’ll book your next appointment at the end of our time together.
Payment for Sessions
Payments are made by credit card. If you don't have access to a credit card, please let me know and we can arrange Interac e-transfer as an alternative. You will only be charged after the session is completed. Once payment is processed, you’ll receive an electronic receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement if applicable.
Late Arrivals and Missed Sessions
Your session time is reserved just for you. If you are running late, I will remain available for 15 minutes in case anything unexpected has come up. If I don’t hear from you within those 15 minutes, the session will be considered missed and will need to be cancelled. Missed sessions are charged at the full session rate. If you arrive late, we will still wrap up at the originally scheduled ending time.
Cancellation Policy
To best support all clients, I ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the session fee.

Missed appointments without cancellation (“No Shows”) will be charged the full session fee. Please note that No-Show fees cannot be claimed through insurance
